Honestly, FFG has absolutely no power to do anything anywhere in that. Asmodée is their parent company, so they get to decide distribution arrangements on a corporate level, and I'd be really surprised if FFG had anyone anywhere near the communications with stores regarding stock these days. There are some things it's fair (and expected) to criticise FFG for - this isn't one of them.
