Got my Black Widow hero pack delivered today, and I've played a couple of games with the pre-built deck against Rhino. Loving this hero so far! The Preparation cards are an interesting play style, and I felt totally in control all the way through. I don't think I've ever spent so much time in Alter Ego mode.
A refreshing change after the disappointing Thor.

I'm really excited for her! She's probably going to be the last hero I buy of this cycle, the Hulk pack looks bad, but Black Widow looks really interesting. I care a lot more about unique playstyles over actual power level so her preparation thing is super cool

Yeaaah if you like interesting mechanics, you're going to sorely miss out by skipping Doctor Strange. He's fantastically fresh.
I think Black Widow does bring in a new way to play Justice, which is to play primarily out of Alter-ego. That is cool but I also dont think it is entirely synergistic as the majority of her preparations require her to be in hero form during the villian phase.
I am a big fan of Black Widow Protection, especially once you add unflappable and Desperate Defense from Doctor Strange pack. Black Widow with Synth suit, armored vest, and cards like attacrobatics, Defensive Stance, and Desparate Defense, make her nigh unkillable so she can stay in hero form near indefinitely, getting full value out of her preparations.

Played her straight Expert Solo and beat every villain first time through with the pre-prepared pack (even Green Goblin Mutagen and I have never done that before). Amazing while still not feeling OP. What's more she captures Black Widow comic and film personae very nicely. Like many she is a relief after Thor. She has joined Iron Man and Captain marvel as my favourite hero. Also like the additional cards Black Widow brought with her.
Given they have now restricted some cards to Spy keyword only I am hoping that SHIELD, Genius, and Soldier keywords will also now get specific cards as well to give them meaning.

In addition to Doctor Strange himself, the Protection cards he comes with are a pretty big boost to defense protection decks in general (Spiderman, Captain America, and Black Widow)
The off aspect cards are pretty skippable tho.

I had my first game with Black Widow last night with her prebuilt deck and she was really good. Definitely a strong solo hero which I wasn’t expecting with her low health.
I wasn’t disappointed with Thor - I find his combos a lot of fun, but he’s not really ideally suited for true solo. I think Thor Aggression will work well with Black Widow in 2-handed solo.
Winter Soldier is a crazy strong ally though. I had him out twice in my game last night, and both times he came in for free - certainly against Expert Rhino I had a bunch of preparations out for much of the game, and a lot of them I didn’t really need. Once I’d built her kit there were lots of ways to get them back or play them extremely cheaply and dip back into alter ego while he was confused. Lots of cool potential.

Rather unexpectedly, Black Widow arrived in the post today. Me and my son wasted no time in teaming her up with Ms Marvel versus the Rhino. Liking what I see!

Haven’t been on these forums in a little bit but I just found Black Widow in Barnes and Noble and was going to come tell people about it but apparently everybody here already knows haha
I have not got my BW cards yet but I did play on tabletop simulator against Rhino. Just her default deck. My thoughts are that her HP wasn’t too much of an issue being at 9, I liked her hand size mechanics, and loved how her kit interacted with preparation cards. I felt she was a little weak to play solo with the default deck as her damage is low, but she excelled at minion demolition, which then procs her preparation cards to do some serious work. I’d probably run her as aggression or leadership to make up some damage in solo play.
