I was reading an old article about model bike making that used this spray in a decanted form for the metal work, i thought it would look cool as a high gloss armor effect that could then be weathered or left parade ground fresh. I finally got around to giving it a go on a spare piece of styeren plastic card straight from the can, i was pleased with the shiny finish and then went on to try it on a spare 40k marine. Although glossy in places the effect was nowhere as good and mostly flat. I tried again after first applying a flat white undercoat it was still as bad.
So has anyone else had this problem? Or is this a result of not first decanting the spray and then using an airbrush?
Any ideas / advice would be appreciated .
