Thanks for your patience. PM me if you ever notice that I've missed a hyperping.
Question:
I can issue five combat and five jump orders. Do they have to be for the same units?
That is, can I issue five combat orders to five ships, and then five jump orders to five different ships? Or is it combat and jump orders to five units total?
Either way - orders in!
Combat and jump orders to five units total.
If you think that's bad, imagine your troops on the left flank getting pummeled by enemy forces, and you can't do anything about it because you have nothing but "right flank" and "center flank" cards in your hand. š I tried to avoid that scenario as much as possible when designing this game...at least I give you the choice.

Iām enjoying watching this; it reminds me of submarine warfare just a bit.
I'll do my best to process in the next few hours.
A gentle bump.
Waiting on @GhostofNobodyInParticular
Orders in! Sorry for the delay!
Sorry guys, I'll process in the morning. Between work and baby watching I couldn't get it finished today.
Please check line of sight; if a ship cannot take a shot because line of sight is blocked, that ship will take no shot at all.

Cool cool. Hopefully I can process in the morning.

Orders are so in.
I'm afraid I didn't explain line of sight very well in the rules.
I draw line of sight center to center (attacker to defender) and If line of sight passes through any part of a hex that contains terrain or one of the attacker's ships/squadrons, even the corner, it isn't a clear shot. If it grazes the edge of the hex but doesn't pass through, then it's clear. This is what I was trying to show with example 2.
If I ever do this game again I'll have to explain it better from the start and come up with better pictures.

There was a question about hyperpings. They show where each unit is, each turn. Not only units that moved.
I'll rename hyperpings as "unit locations" or "sensor readings" in future turns to avoid confusion.
