Alter-Egos is a fan podcast for Marvel Champions. A Living Card Game (LCG) by Fantasy Flight Games.

Hi guys,

Unfortunately due to moving out of home this week it was difficult to get the episode out and ready for release. Expect regular content to recommence the week starting 15/06/20. We are always actively looking to improve on our content so this has also been a rare opportunity to spend sometime thinking how to produce a more accessible, engaging and worthwhile show. Expect some exciting changes from July onwards with regards to all things Alter-Egos.

"Since April of 2020, Alter Egos has been bringing a fresh set of content to the Marvel Champions LCG podcasting scene. We are a relatively short form, usually around 30-45 minute podcast, that we put out once a week. We take a deep dive on design, mechanics, scenarios, heroes and the evolving meta. We hope in future t o have guest hosts from all aspects of the game; players, bloggers, podcasters, and even the designers.

This patreon is set up to primarily seek assistance in maintaining the costs of running the podcast behind the scenes. Thanks, I believe we pencilled in the cast for two weeks time. The reason we did this is our production schedule is a bid adhoc with COVID atm but more importantly we like to write notes and construct some thoughtful reflections on what has been announced to then share and discuss. I think we'll try and also branch out and provide a video format for those that prefer card discussion with visual reference. It's something we really want to be pushing and working towards moving forward. So hopefully it isn't too disappointing to hear that it's coming but delayed slightly but we think it allows for us to produce content we hope others like to engage with the game.

It's super exciting to see the new announcements though so much great content coming in the next few months!

Schedule updated for the next two weeks until The Rise of Red Skull launches!

After a brief hiatus and re-launch Alter-Egos is now proud to now be delivering a regular schedule moving through to the end of the year. We are very keen to grow and continue producing content until the new year at which stage we'll have another refresh and work on a vision for Alter-Egos in 2021.

We're now committed to the podcast over the next 3 months in it's current form. We will ensure we deliver content every week including exclusive designer interviews, product reviews, in-depth discussion on mechanics and a fortnightly deck building episode in the form of Honorary Avenger over this time period. We've also started collaborating with other outstanding content creators around the globe with podcast episodes featuring members of The Side Scheme, Marvel Champions Monthly and Tabletop Timesinks.

Look out for Season 3 to commence from September 4th onwards. From now on each time a campaign box is launched is when Alter-Egos will transition from season to season. These next 3 months will be a time to consolidate our formats and content and work through the additional feedback the listener base is providing.

By 2021 and Season 4 we hope to have refined the podcast to a standard that is of exceptional value and professionalism while providing a healthy dose of entertainment. As we start to look ahead into 2021 we are thinking of ways to reward our supporters and have a few things slowly happening in the background and the reward tiers will be altered slightly by the end of the year to reflect the long term support of our loyal patrons.
