Cannot read the fine print on the card images, you mind spoiling what they say? particularly the dwarf card?

From the looks of things it seems that each faction is going to have cards that target their opposing enemy. Dwarves and Orcs will have cards targeting each other. Chaos and Empire. Dark Elf and High Elf.

Skaven may get a nemesis through order only neutral cards.

Dwarves are turning to the runes for backup means we can see orcs countering runes. Dwarves will have ways to slow the green skin rush.

Chaos are turning to nurgle this cycle with nasty attachments so empire will have way s to remove these diseases. Flip side i see chaos having cards that prevent the empire mobility.

High Elf and Dark Elf will be interesting. Draw Power vs Discard.

What do you guys think, based on this preview, that the next cycle will focus on?

Dwarf card allow you to draw top five cards. You can put any runes into your hand and discard the rest.

Chaos is an attachment with Disease keyword. Deals 1 damage every turn.

Empire is an environment that grants units with the keyword Knight an extra power for the turn they enter the zone.

Happy birthday Curator, and thasnk you for the info ! :)

Could you write down the exact card texts ? I could not read them.

Oh, I downloaded th images and could read the card texts. Awesome !

I'm really hyped up for the next cycle, none of the cards yet have seemed useless, it seems very possible that current rush decks will have serious alternatives soon - somebody post the spoiler already :D (and let there be some chaos love, my favourite faction is now lying in the dust waiting the starts to be right...oh I meant uhm, ohm....well nurgle is almost cthulhu ^^' )

Here's the spoilers for those unable to view the image properly:

RUNESMITH APPRENTICE (Dwarf Unit) 2-D
1P/2HP
Warrior.

Action: When this unit enters play, search the top five cards of your deck for any number of Rune cards, reveal them, and put them into your hand. Then, shuffle the remaining cards into your deck.

NECROTIC SPASMS (Chaos Support) 1-CC
Attachment. Disease.
Attach to a target unit.
At the beginning of its controller's turn, attached unit takes 1 uncacellable damage.

HIGHER GROUND (Empire Support) 1-EE
Environment.
Battlefield. Action: When a Knight unit enters this zone, that unit gains P until the end of the turn.

Thanks guys!

Had to work today =( yeah memorial day and bday...no fun.

Empire

Griffon Standard

The Knights in the preview page that we cant read. They look heavily armored.

Higher Ground

Gryphon Legionnaire (Whom is a Knight BTW, so with Higher Ground he has a power of 2 and has a defense of 2...all for 3 resources gran_risa.gif....oh and counter strike 2. AND plays like an instant...so yeah, James knows what he is doing gui%C3%B1o.gif)

Dwarves

Runesmith Apprentice

Mining Tunnels

High Elves

Do you know who I am? Cost 3. Action. Each non- High elf unit....loses something until end of the turn. (Any guesses) If its a Juggernaut reference then possibly it removes all text from non High Elfs or prevents them from defending. Flavor text is "Do not bother me."

Chaos

Braying Gors

Necrotic Spasms

Beast of Rot gains power based on number of diseases in play

Orcs

Giant Cave Squig (something of your turn something a defending unit in this zone or this unit something power to target something)

Dark Elves

Whip the Slaves

Giant cave squig also includes something like "sacrifice a de...(velopment?). And the Creature trait.

More Skaven and Chaos, YES! I love it and can't just wait for The Burning of Derricksburg.

You are right! I think it's "Forced: At the beginning of your of your turn, sacrifice a development in this zone or this unit deals damage equal to it's power to target zone."

LOL wheel of fortune DOES come in handy lengua.gif

So my guess is that it has a ton of power and health. Basically the green skin Greater Demon lol.

Just noticed guys that the three cards, higher ground, spasms, and runesmith are not in the next AP. Look at their numbers. AP 1 has cards 1-20 in it. OOPS!

Yep, your'e right. So for some of those cards we will have to wait a little bit longer.

does anybody know the realease date? were not anymore in may :(

The first pack for The Enemy Cycle should be avaliable in the end of June (so I heared in my FLGS). I don't know when the rest will come.

That means they won't keep the one month/BP timeline again. Should we be suprised ? :)

BTW, I don't mind if we have to wait 1-2 weeks longer if the quality worth it. I hope sometimes we will receive to play some competitive Chaos decks too, not only the other 5 factions.

I used to think chaos was the worst race, yet after last BPs I think it's best. Really.

I think the game was designed to build decks only with everything rare 1x. This way, the game seems really balanced.

I don't think so, the game was suppose to be used with cards on x3 since the first box (aka the core set) and by pushing "competitive" players to purchase more copy of the whole set in order to be able to play tournaments.

Last week we didn't even received a "card of the week" article... this is sad :(

BTW, I think the game is balanced to 3 cards each, as it would be fool to assume that nobody will buy more than 1 set. But we have balancing issues as anybody could tell.

Chaos currently the most flavourfull and less playable faction in the game, (again) sadly :(

well there are still unbalanced faction but this is due the rly few amount of card that are out. i guess with this new cycle (maybe also with the next one) things gonna be a lot better.

@cain_hu yea I was disapointed to not reiceve the new "card of the week" even if Curator published those imgs with those new cards, thx to him my curiosity was satisfied the same :P

Of course you are allowed to but 3x each pack, but I remind you that this is a LCG and not a CCG. Idea of LCG is to play the game as it is, out of the box. I have no information on what is the relation of hardcore to casual players but in my opinion this game was designed rather for the second group (in opposition to CCG). The game as it is now (with core set, ulthuan expansion and 6 BPs) is well balanced for people who purchase only 1 copy of each set.

then how do you explain that the upcoming bps gonna be 3x? it's pretty clear that they made a mistake (or maybe their will was exactly to push us competitive players to buy more copy of each single box) and now they gonna turn all in 3x to make us satisfied.

sry for the doublepost.

the game has to be like you say only if there are 4 old friends playing it once a month around a table with drinks and chips. for those willing to play at a more "competitive lvl" is kinda obvius and clear the need to buy more copy and also with this problem it costs less then other ccg (like mtg).

if you rly think that the game was suppose to be played with cards in 1x, don't you think that with the upcoming cycles there gonna be cards in x3 much more powerfull of those in x1? and how we gonna fight them with just 1x?

well, u might be right. On the other hand I have no ambition (and money) for tournaments. So it's gonna be just me and 3 old friends playing cards with one hand and drinking beer/wine with the other. I sent an email to FFG asking if they ever are going to reprint the current packs so to the '3x format' ot maybe packs containing only those rare cards 2x. Sadly, never got a message from them. Buying everything x3 is a LOT of money and it won't happen for me.

Only thing that really bothers me is the lack of multiplayer rules. How about writing a petition to FFG? Should i write a new topic?
