see me not

By Skie, in Dark Heresy Rules Questions

A quick question about the power 'see me not' - would you allow reaction rolls (dodges, parries) vs. attacks done by a psyker using this power? The description says 'you may suspect that someone is there', but on the other hand, you cannot directly attack the person. What's your opinion?

You can only dodge/parry if you know that the attack is coming. So it wouldn't work against see me not.

Does anyone think see me not would work against daemons?

I would say No. "This power is more than just 'invisibility'; targets that this power has been used successfully on literally cannon perceive you at all. While they may suspect that someone is present, they can only react to the effects of what you do." The example they give is punching a guard who looks right through the psyker...

You can only react to how the psyker effects the environment, which means it is a little late to dodge/parry After you have been hit.

thought so - but this makes it a very, very powerful ability. Well, it's limited by the number of the affected and they have willpower saves but still my players are up for some nasty time.
