Aggression could be with either Quicksilver or Scarlet Witch.

A Scarlet Witch Aggression deck? Yes please!

I wouldn't be surprised if Scarlet Witch has an AE ability that changes deck building rules (like Spiderwoman), so who knows with her.

I would much rather have Janet van Dyne but for several reasons I expect Nadia van Dyne to be Wasp

--It gives them another "youth" character

--The silhouette is on a computer and Nadia led a group called GIRL that celebrated female scientists

--If they aren't featuring the original Ant-Man then why feature the original Wasp

--Janet has not been that prominent in the comics lately, Nadia has had recent titles including a team-up with Scott Lang's Ant-Man

--Nadia has both been in the Avengers and the Champions, same as Ms Marvel

But like I said, I hope I'm wrong

Is Hawkeye/Spider-Woman part of the cycle? They are in the box set which could be outside the cycle

Hmm, totally possible, I guess. If so, I wonder if they’d have something that complements them for the next story box, for parity.

One reason could be so that they can use Nadia as Scott’s signature ally and Hank Pym as Janet’s signature ally.

With that said, I’d be surprised if they did this. All your points are completely reasonable.

Edit: I haven’t read recent comics. I’ve been following some reading guides using Marvel Unlimited and I’m only up to 1989, so I’ve no idea if there are lots of better choices for Scott Lang’s signature ally.

Janet Van Dynn has been Wasp for an extremely long time. Hank Pym hasn’t been Ant-Man since the ‘70’s...

Shhhh... reminding people around here that the comics aren't frozen in time in their favorite time period (whether that's 70s, 80s, or... ugh... 90s) never goes well. 🙂

I like this idea, it would give them a chance to pull the trigger on same name cards having different alter egos, something they have mentioned but not done yet.

I would guess though that Lang's signature Ally will be his daughter Cassandra aka Stinger, former member of the Young Avengers. She teamed up with him in his current miniseries.

They’re doing it first with Kate Bishop Hawkeye - she’s a Leadership Ally in Hawkeye’s Deck in the Rise of the Red Skull Box.

Did she stop going by 'Stature'? Huh... apparently I need to catch up on some reading!

Yeah after the disbanding of the Young Avengers (and her death and resurrection) she now goes by Stinger

Huh. Makes sense, since all of her future versions were always Stinger.

Everybody knows that the best Marvel comics were in the 1970s; and iirc cost just 10p when I first started buying them.

My guesses for which aspects the supposed heroes will come with are;

Ant Man--Justice

Wasp--Leadership

Quicksilver--Protection

Scarlet Witch--Aggression

My reasoning, we most definitely have the least amount of justice cards, plus Scott Lang was a thief and always sneaking around with his ant army. Wasp was leader of an Avengers team for a while, and no one else would have leadership. Quicksilver protection because he's always the one running around saving all the civilians and moving the other heroes out of the way of enemy fire. And Scarlet Witch aggression just makes perfect sense to me. That's just my opinion.

I'm an 80s guy, myself (also when I started reading). My first Marvel comics were 2 Miller Daredevil issues and a Claremont X-Men that a cousin gave me.

Got a retailer leak for the Scenario, too, now.

The Once and Future Kang

I am not surprised.

I think very few of us are shocked by that.

Well I am, as I never knew who was Kang and I thought that SpiderMana was just making a silly pun. 😂

There was a decent chance that it was Zemo, too 😜

I’m not surprised, but I’m definitely excited! One of the best Avengers villains!

It’s a great pun 🙂

I’m very excited by the possibilities

For the scenario, I'm going with Kang. There is a fairly obvious sort of central ridge in the head. Also, this pose fits almost exactly (the right hand is a little lower in the silhouette):

Klang would be neat. i think we need more villains at this moment

I wonder about a time traveling mechanic. Immortus and Rama-Tut as minions? Or different levels of the Villain card?

This article is interesting. Regarding US distribution: “[Asmodee] plans 40 releases over the four-week period [of June], including. . . seven Marvel Champions releases...”

In an ideal world, Rise of Red Skull would be the last product being released that early to begin with. So even if they caught up to the original schedule and released Widow, Strange, Hulk, and RoRS, there are still three SKUs unaccounted for. Playmats for Ms Marvel, Cap, and Thor seem likely, but when you consider playmats you then have to wonder if they comprise a larger percentage of the 7 June releases. A couple people on Discord are leaning towards mats for Strange and Widow as well, with Strange and Widow being the only non-playmat releases.

Hard to say for sure, so I’m optimistic that we get more cards sooner, but trying not to get my hopes up too much.
