Units in an activated zone using Strategic Retreat tactics

By Rone27, in Runewars

Hi,

I know normally units in an activated zones cannot move. But what happens if

1) I attack a zone using Mobilize and win the battle.

2) The other guy then counters and attacks me in th zone.

3) I use Strategic Retreat tactic which allows me to retreat without getting routed.

Can I then use Conquer and use those units to attack again? Can this technique be used to attack twice with the same units in the same year?

Yes, this is one situation where you could possibly get around that restriction; as long as the units aren't in an activated area when you move them, they can move, even if they moved previously this turn.

You can attack, but not the same area, as you can not activate the same area twice.

Correct, unless you happen to have that card that removes an activation token from an area :) (Favor of the Warriors' Guild, I think)
