Given the Corona situation and all my local game shops being closed, where would be the best place currently to order the Legion Clone Wars Core Set? I assume Amazon is overloaded with orders and I feel bad buying non-essential stuff there now so I dont clog up the orders. Anybody know a good online games shop that delivers Legion products currently?

Which country in Europe? Most Online Stores will deliver packages to you anyway but in terms of fees it can make a big difference depending on where you are from.

Also currently my local game store owner offers a personal delivery. If you call him and tell him what you want he will be at your door a few hours later 😉 . So check out your local game store, if they offer something similar. Also, most stores have a small online shop, too.

Btw Clone Wars core set is pretty much sold out everywhere in Europe. Local game stores are your only hope there, my friend.

Many would be happy to ship it, none seem to have it in stock.

Yeah Ive noticed, I found a cheap version in France that will ship for free but the cards are in French, I mean I dont really care since my X-Wing cards are a mixture of Polish/Italian/Hungarian/German but was hoping to at least try to start the game with English card and evolve into the Tower of Babylon later.

Zatu games in the UK were very reliable. Usually shipped to Ireland quite quickly and cheaper incl shipping than from my local store. Not sure how they're operating in the last week or so, or if they have core sets.

In italy we have "maremma wargames" and another chap in Pescara who owns a FLGS. They both have legion stuff and send it via post! Since croatia is close to italy, maybe you can get it from them! The new stuff is all in english, asmodee italia has ceased all translations and support for legion.

FWIW I’m just getting into Legion too and given the situation I just ordered stuff off of Amazon and another online website. My stuff is due to start arriving tomorrow. 🙂 I plan on “making it up” to my local game store by (pre)ordering the new expansions from them once they open back up for business.

I don’t know about the European Amazon(s), but the US Amazon has the clone wars core set for a killer price right now ( more than 25% off EDIT: I just checked, the price recently bounced back up, but it’s still ~20% off). If you can’t find it anywhere in Europe you might try US Amazon and see what shipping prices would be to Croatia. They’re probably high, but the discount might offset them enough to make it worthwhile. Good luck!

The most honest answer at this point is, "Any where that has the item you want in stock."

It seems that as soon as isolation measures started, lots of us went ahead and order what we could, knowing it might be a while locked up with our plastic crack. Stock levels are therefore really low.

I'd also say, if you can, order from an LGS. These guys are the stores that keep the hobby growing, they are vital for places to meet and play. The next few months are likely going to see a fair few of them close. Do what you can to support them, to support the game.
