Hey guys, I don't even know if this post will get attention anymore but here's my issue: I've convinced my GM to let me play a Thousand Sons blackshield librarian and we're going through how to create it. We've dismissed the blackshield specialty and we're simply going to RP a blackshield, So now we make the chapter. Problem is I can't seem to get him to budge on the table. He believes the Knowledge is Power table is appropriate and for the most part I agree, but I feel it lacks a psyker's touch. I mean these guys were the best of the best as far as psykers go, it's the core part of their culture, so a librarian from their chapter needs to be a cut above the rest. Anything else would be a misrepresentation. Obviously I'm biased since they're my favourite chapter, but it seems integral to my sense of their character as a whole. So I thought of adding Favoured by the Warp or Bastion of Iron Will to the table but I understand if that's too powerful. What do you think? Is there any other talent I could add instead? Am I out of line?

There are a few different thousand son pc generators for dw out there that I know of, one based off the dornian heresy and another designed for great crusade sorta things, in both cases they had warp sense, and base level psy ratings at least up to 2 on the pretext that every thousand son was a psyker, favoured of the warp to me isn't too breaking, nor would rite of sanctioning if you wanted to try for that. Bastion of iron will might be much, but strong minded could be, since its a prerequisite anyway. Then perhaps elite advance it later on.
