Daisy and the Necronomicon

By ALiteralCommunist, in Arkham Horror: The Card Game

So in this cases, what would happen if you drew Pushed into the beyond ? Would you suffer horror if you discarded the other variant with the same name? What about if you shuffled the basic strange solution and discarded a upgraded one? Is this a whole other matter and am I complicating too much? 😅

I'll wager this is addressed when the card is released, if not before, but I'm wondering if mandatory cards and scenario specific/rewards are counted in deckbuilding at all.

I'm hoping they aren't as I've played close to half my total games as Daisy. (That might not be true, but it should be!)

Pushed into the Beyond 100% only cares about title. If you lose Strange Solution (Acidic Ichor) and discard Strange Solution (Freezing Variant), you take the horror.

Signature cards and the necronomicon from Dunwich definitely don't count against deck size; in the resolution where you get it the text has words to that effect. I think this might also apply to your limit for copies? The wording says, "This card does not count toward that investigator's deck size," which isn't perfectly clear about it counting as a copy of a card by title.
