IG-88D: “While you execute a Segnor’s Loop maneuver, you may use another template of the same speed instead: either the turn of the same direction or the straight template.”

Does this ability allow IG-88D to actually complete a sort of alternate Segnor’s Loop, with the rotation at the end of the template? Or does it just completely replace the revealed dial with an alternate maneuver (speed 3 turn, or speed 3 straight)?

Also, what is the difficulty of this maneuver? Does it remain red? Or would it be blue for the straight template? What about the turn, which doesn’t even appear on IG-88D’s dial?

You only change the template, all other things stay the same: speed, difficulty, and the rotation at the end of the template.

You'll do a red 3 hard with a 180 degree flip at the end, or a red 3 straight with a 180 degree flip at the end.
