Probably gonna be dicey.
Personally like the 1st, because I'm a fan of symmetry, but 2ag on the Phantoms is kinda scary so Sense may be really useful. If it draws fire from the Imdaars, great. If not, it's definitely gonna help put them in good places.
I mean, an Imdaar is a slightly-more-mobile X-Wing, for 3 extra points. That's probably fair, and there's probably some decent way to slot 2 or 3 into a squad. Personally, I kind of want something other than a few v1s (I'm sure they're fine, just not for me), but I'm not quite sure what.
2 Imdaar/2 Ace? Could fit Soontir, Duchess, Grand Inquisitor... Those all can be nicely built for about the 57 points per that the list allows.
Maybe 3/2 is a solid way to go.
I've been thinking along the lines of 3 Imdaar and a Delta Defender. That's similar to your first list, but I feel like the Delta may make for harder target priority choices - it's bad to ignore the Imdaars (they get great action economy as long as they don't spend their evade) and it's also bad to ignore the Delta (it's going to be very hard to kill in the endgame and it's got 3 red dice and a good dial in the meantime). Whereas versus 3 Imdaar plus 2 Inquisitor, it seems like an easy choice to go for the Imdaar as they're easier to kill, hit harder, and are worth more points. The Delta option also is lower in points, so there's a bid and it helps win on points (either list is likely to go to time).

My thought was that the Inqs tend to fly a bit more of the same pattern as the Imdaars.
Also all PS 3 was just so enticing. 😜
