With all this time at home, it sure would be nice to have some new units to paint!!

I’m retired Army and farm now. We’ve had 100 year record rainfall since December so I can’t get any field work done. On the bad side, I’m not getting necessary work done. The silver lining is the extra time I’ve had in the paint room. 100% done with Rebel and Empire after finishing my last unpainted expansion yesterday.

Guess it’s terrain time until the next release.

I don't want to bring down the mood but if we have no idea when the AAT is coming out I don't know if Cassian, Iden and the scenarios will make their release date. I imagine that stuff coming out of China is a mess at the moment.

definitely a case of "Ill believe it when I see it" frankly, the AAT has been pushed back a number of times from official FFG delivery dates and several locations are reporting lack of delivery of the P2's and B2's as well.

I want my AAT as much as the next guy but till I see it in my own hands I'm not betting on any delivery dates.

LJ did say that it was confirmed by FFG marketing. LJ’s full post on those units:

“Bad News (If you didn't know already) - Vital Assets stream today is cancelled.

Good News - Cassian, Iden, AAT, and Vital Assets are due 4/3 in the United States (Confirmed by Marketing). International release dates cannot be confirmed for hopefully obvious reasons. Also, VA card previews should be out before the set is released, likely through unofficial channels.”

I live in Australia so I was speaking more internationally but hopefully at least the states will get them on time.

Yeah, they always mention the States, but Canada is always a toss up. Just like the Saber Tank, I’m still waiting. ☹️

Actually a lot of China and their production is back online because Communists gotta make the mother state money. Once the factory is cleared the govt sent them back to work, so some stuff may actually ship out on time.

The problem is if FFG gets everything and then the USA (really the states governments) close everything down then we might be stuck on our end with a delay of our own making.

When I paint Chewie's base, I will have cleared my Legion backlog. Not counting a starter's worth of rebels whose modelling purpose I have yet to determine.

I am going to move on to Imperial Assault. I traded my panted core set for an unpainted core set, long story. I basically want to redo all my IA paintjobs though.

So do we expect Cassian and Vital Assets to be as unobtanium as P2 clones? Trying to figure out if I need to panic and get in now or not.

US based customer, never seen a p2 clone anywhere (and all sources online are out as well).

I think Battlegrounds game Center in Ravenna Ohio has 2, you could message them on Facebook, I'm sure he'd ship if need be. (maybe once things exit lockdown in ohio anyways lol)

I don't think they'll be as scarce, unlike corps units you should only need one of each, right?

Did I see LJ make another post saying that FFG was NOT going to ship a release on April 3rd since many game stores are closed?

Wondering if they are going to ship items ordered directly from FFG?

When I order direct from FFG, I normally get a pre-shipment email two weeks before release date to give the opportunity to make any changes to the order. The order then usually ships about a week later. The two week mark was Friday, Mar 20 and I didn't get a pre-shipment email. Curious what anyone has heard.

Do you want me to buy one of the 5 boxes ar my flgs and ship it to you? They don't off any discounts unfortunately but have most things in stock. (Clone P1 upgrade being the exception)
