Jyn Erso Analysis Rebels Guide to the galaxy

By jocke01, in Star Wars: Legion

Interesting read, thank you and Tirion both!

I can't any credit beyond copy + paste and the hillarious picture comments

@Tirion

Good, well written article. I know I personally have gone back and forth with Tirion over Jyn and Pathfinders. I will say that I still play Jyn and will a lot more (I'm excited about Cassian and K2-S0).

I just wanted to shout out that Rogue One is probably my most favorite Star Wars media I've experienced since Return of the Jedi when I was a young'en. It actually still holds up (I watched it 2 weeks ago) Mandalorian was really good as well. It's not perfect, but is a very entertaining SciFi movie.

I appreciate it, rogue one was so many things I wanted

There are a lot of ways to successfully play Jyn but the two I land on most of the time is just as an offensive piece that hardly moves or as an objective grabber that hardly attacks

this just goes too far, you are giving away my secrets here.

Nice write up, but to be honest I've been playing Jyn so long and made enough mistakes with her to know it all, though I'm not a fan of Long March with her and would take disarray instead. Pathfinders and Jyn do very well on it , although you may not want to force it on a double commander list.

Good job btw, I take it the usual meet for the Jyn fan club is off in the current environment, or do we not have enough to be classed as a mass gathering ;)

Nice write up! You posted a list with Sabine, I'm just starting with this game and I love Sabine, how does her play with Jyn?

Jyns strength lies in being able to battle with and against suppression. Sabine can control and cause suppression, her graffiti token helps with that.

Also anyone with the nimble keyword is an excellent target for teamwork (Jyns 2 pip) and lastly explosives could be used to cover a retreat from a box grab, for example (and being slowed down to speed 2 with jump still available isn't a big detriment) so as a couple Jyn and Sabine work well together in suppression control for both your own and opponents army as well as being the most objective focused Leaders/Operatives that the rebels have (well at least until R2 arrived)

Sabine is just good in any list. Her durability, flexibility and mobility make her useful for any objective mission and she can be fitted out to do damage easily as well. Her Impervious and Red/Surge save usually keep her tanking shots as well, which keeps pressure off of your other units.

This exactly Sabin is a prime option to use with Jyn's 2 pip.

completely agree Sabin is just simply good. She is one of the most survivable pieces in the game.

There are dozens of us! Dozens!
