Thank you Jabbawookie and Cpt Obvus for your great insights on my first post. I’ve got one last question for the community regarding squadrons. Is it better to stick what I have below or go with straight a wings, which would give me more for my money and hopefully keep my opponents squadrons busy. I’d like to get this right as I usually mismanage my squadrons.

I said this over in your other thread, but to reiterate, I like Hera, but Luke/Nym aren’t the strongest or most versatile combo. Try Wedge/Dutch or Tycho/Shara, or skip Hera entirely and use three self-sufficient Rogue squads. The Alliance has a few options in the 22-24 point range that are just fantastic. The best of these for your purposes is probably Lando, but Dash, Corran, & Ketsu are all great.

Sorry about that... I’ve got rebellion in the rim on order so don’t have some of your suggestions. I’ll make it work with what I do have.

Nice. Looks pretty good! Remember those fighters are expensive, and very strong, but they won’t last forever. There are gonna be times when you need to hold them out of harm’s way for a turn or two, then really make their sacrifice count. Against a wing of fighters their size or a bit larger, they may even win!

If it’s me, I cut EITHER Derlin or XI7s from Admonition and get a really good bid; I’ve said it 100 times now: black dice love bids. BE first player, this list wants it bad.

For the price of the final chosen 3 squads, you could take Shara, Tycho, 1 awing and Lando or Dash. Even though the awings aren't rogue, they are road blocks that bite back. I like Cap obVus' suggestion for all rogues and holding back with your squads until the right moment, but that applies to non rogues aswell,, knowing when to throw them into the fray is the key. Love the list btw.

Wow guys thanks so much it went very well! We played two games and I won both! He had no squadrons (unusual for his play style) and went with One Onager, two Interdictors, and one Gozanti Assault carrier. In both game my torpedo frigate didn’t matter much (first game got into the fight too late and second game blown up before it activated by Onager. Holy smokes is the Starhawk an awesome ship... it is forgiving to mistakes and with the support of Leia by far the most formidable rebel ship in the fleet. I’m thinking of replacing the torpedo frigate with a pelta carrier with intensify firepower or maybe beef up my rogue squadrons. Thanks again guys! I’ve got another starhawk in order and will put two into battle lol!

You have 2x Salvo so you want LTT for more rerolls. XI7 is great but if you have Salvo rerolls are way better.

Edit: A no RitR yet. So my advise, you want RitR so bad

Intensify Firepower is not a good investment in a list with only two ships. I barely think it’s worth it in a list with four ships. You’re just not gonna turn up that many more damage over a game, and half the time it’s gonna be waste of like, turning 5 hits + a blank into 6 hits (either way, they get Braced to 3 damage).
