Well...I don't hate the idea of taking time off for it, even without the con involved.
Time off is...ummm...pretty easy to get right now. Chalk me up as interested, although non-committed. Have to see how things look by the end of the month to be sure...

Beyond the tutorials and tips the mod comes with on Vassal any other good resources to use to get up to speed on it? Ideally anyone fancy playing a teaching game?

Nothing beats actual experience, but this playlist is great.
That being said, if it's your first time with Vassal I doubt you'll get your games finished under the three hour time limit. Just speaking from my own experience.

Well, it's been well over a year since I've played on vassal, but why not
And we are in stage one lockdown so my calendar just cleared up nicely.

I wanna do this so bad. Let me check with the wife since we're all locked at home together.
If we're going to do it real-time, we're definitely going to need some kind of digital form for submitting scores and posting pairings. I don't think relying on forum or chat posts is going to be workable to get the needed turnaround...
