I mean it is 100% in the best interest.
People at events like this get 'con flu' from the air con and bodies everywhere at the healthiest of times. Throw a new virus in the mix? No sir.

They were setting stock aside for the system open players. I wonder if they will still be able to ensure that those players have the opportunity to purchase one. I was anticipating getting two ships because my son and I were both signed up to play in the system open. It was going to be my 5th Adepticon System Open and his first.
Watch, the n1s will just be sent to GenCon or some other exclusive far enough down the road that this covid should have run its course.

You may be right. Perhaps the N-1s will be saved for next big event. Or FFG may decide to sell the entire stock online with those with Adepticon tickets guaranteed one.
I'm hoping and sure FFG will make an announcement on Friday (tomorrow).

I hope this is the case. It was my only chance to finally score a repaint I wanted.
All things considered (for me), instead of getting exposed to a bunch of strangers at Adepticon, I can now put myself back on the schedule at work and get exposed to random clients all day.
I plan on doing "Adapticon" a Vassal tournament on the 28th. Mainly organized through the Vassal League Slack but shoot me a PM if you wanna join in. Will figure out some sort of bag o' goodies to send the winner.
Mu0n told me that calling it the Corona Open: Vassal Inter-Divisional would be in bad taste and Parakitor nailed it with Adapticon.

You must be new here. There is literally zero chance we will know today. We probably will get news on the day they were supposed to go on sale online, or perhaps even later than that.
Communication is basically FFG’s weakest point, which says a lot considering how their logistical operations work (or don’t)

My point is if they can’t handle communication correctly under the best of times, what makes you think they’d magically be better under worse times?
