Not saying I agree. I have no expertise here. But a buyout is one reasonable way of dealing with an IP violation...

And no, I DONT think we should create a racket about this, or that store champs should go online. That’s just asking for trouble. There’s little harm in speculation, but deliberately forcing FFG to pay attention to the IP violations is just asking for trouble

The squad builder app doesn't give me much faith that Disney/FFG would buy out any current sim.

it would not be in a company's interest to make people think that infringing their copyrights is a potential get rich quick scheme
