Clarification on WARPSTONE METEOR

By JonHook, in Warhammer Invasion Rules Questions

Hi. I've searched, and read the previous thread on Warpstone Meteor, but I wasn't sure I got a clear answer on my specific question about this card and it's power. Can someone please clarify this for me.

Here is the card text:

Warpstone.
Forced: After your turn begins, each player must corrupt one of his units in this corresponding zone or deal 1 damage to his capital. (Players decide where their own damage is assigned.)

Question: Can the Chaos player "stack" the effects of the Warpstone Meteor and the innate ability to restore one corrupted unit at the beginning of your turn so that the Meteor corrupts a unit, and then the player restores that same unit before proceeding with the rest of his turn?

Thanks!

Sounds like you might have missed the FAQ. Start of turn is now Phase 0, so WM happens then, restoring takes place in the Kingdom Phase, which is Phase 1.

From my understanding, and I may be wrong about this, yes, you could use Warpstone Meteor to corrupt a unit and then uncorrupt it during the kingdom phase.

It does not work the other way around though. Because you uncorrupt units in the kingdom phase, and Warpstone Meteor's ability goes off "at the start of your turn" before the kingdom phase happens. If you only have corrupted units in that zone, you can't uncorrupt them, and then corrupt them with the card's ability.

Thank you so much. I'll go download the FAQ now.
