The rule book isn't too clear on this point and I was wondering if I was doing them right
1) enter area with gate and get drawn through after monster (if any) is dealt with. Skip Arkham encounter and don't pick up clues. Have an other world encounter instead
2) move into second area in other world and have an encounter. If you succeed then go back to arkham and can try to seal the gate immediately. no arkham encounter.
It seems like 2 turns is a tad on the fast side
, of course not really sure you can do that ). I originally felt that you'd only get sucked in during the encounter phase, but ColtsFan76 was of the POV that it'd be like getting "a gate appears" encounter and thus delayed. From there, I was off. Since you enter the gate already during the movement phase and being Mark (or having Erich) prevents you from being delayed, you can then cast Find Gate and return to Arkham, ready to close/seal during your Arkham encounter.
