I couldn't find an answer to this anywhere - are the objectives that you choose for your fleet when first constructing them set in stone for the rest of the campaign? Do I have to build my fleet to fit my objectives, or can I change my objectives at some stage to fit my updated fleet?

As nowhere does it say you get an opportunity to change them, they are set.
