Cloak of invisability

By Rone27, in Runewars

There is a reward card called cloak of invisibility or something similar to it. It allows the hero to avoid a duel. Is there a limit to how many times you can use this card per turn?

IE: can you avoid ALL duels forever?

What about the hero with the ability to steal a reward item instead of dueling? Does this item negate that ability?

Thanks,

Rone

If the text doesn't impose a limit on the number of uses per turn, then I would say there is none. There's no generic limit on using rewards only so many times per turn that I'm aware of. So yes, the hero only duels when he chooses to.

I'm less sure about the second question, but my gut reaction would be that this hero is not starting a duel so the cloak doesn't help. He's opting to forego the duel in order to just steal something.

In theory, yes; however, since you have to test Agility and get a "gold" result for it to work, don't count on it being a certainty, as there are only 4 "golds" in the deck.

(And for what it's worth, it's Cloak of Deception, but the name isn't that important)

The Cloak only works "at the start of a duel". Since the stealing ability is not the start of a duel, the Cloak will not work.
