They're not happy-pills. That's not how it works.

I already laid out the problems. Why do you act like it is gospel?

You... didn't?

I did. If your reading comprehension is lacking i cant help you.

You just repeated what I said.
On 3/17/2020 at 9:54 AM, Daeglan said:But how much of that is because the companies have literally weaponized the FDA against each other?
In my experience, none of it. Pharma companies don't use the FDA against each other. They use the Patent Office and the courts, but not the FDA. When drug manufacturers interact with the FDA outside of inspections and the approval process it's in an effort to loosen regulations on all of them, not to tighten the screws.
There is an argument to be made that the patent process needs to be reformed in order to lower drug prices. The patent clock should start at the end of the approval process, not when the compound is discovered. A second step should be cracking down on formula tinkering used to extend patents. You shouldn't be able to extend the patent on a drug by adding ingredients that don't impact the efficacy or safety. However, the last thing we should do is go back to the time before the FDA where the process was anything goes. That isn't good for patient health.

No one said that. However I can only speak for myself and state that I am happy AND I am on antidepressants.

How, do you know you altered your brain chemistry? Most of that **** is made out of derivatives of fluoride compounds which build up in your pineal gland. Their just a mask for our real problems, smoothing out our tolerance for continuing problems, when we should be addressing them. Also most of the nutter shooters in America are on anti-depressants or just off them.

My bad then. I misinterpreted your meaning.
Edit: turns out I read it correctly the first time.

At no point have you shown that you even know what their methodology even is.

You seem to be under the impression that I am interested in going down this road with someone whom I do not know on a Star Wars forum. I am not.

Your ignorance is truly impressive.

Not a constructive response; and you guys claim Deaglen is trolling.
Nothing I stated in that paragraph is factually incorrect.
I’ve been on anti-depressants, I got off them ASAP, I felt the one I was on was personality altering in a bad way.

Your the ones who brought up anti-depressents. Don't bring it up if you don't want to talk about it.

No, you read incorrectly both times.

I did want to talk about it. In the general sense.
What I did not want was the medical “advice” you volunteered without having any idea of what my condition is, what medicines I am on, what said medicines do and what other things I do, did and have done to handle my mental illness.
If you don’t see how that is something completely different then I cannot help you.

I didn't give anyone medical advice, do you see any mention if that, I asked you a question in one sentence. The rest if that paragraph is very general.
You guys have been talking about happiness for pages.
I've been on anti-depressents doctors proscribe that stuff all day long here.

I dont recall giving medical advice. I said I find the claims about happiness dubious and why.

Seems like advice to me.

For once this was not about you.

no one gave you medical advice. Maybe not claim it was given when it wasnt
6 minutes ago, DanteRotterdam said:Seems like advice to me.
Certainly not medical, and I was really talking about about my own experience there. "We" does not mean "you".
You understand people can speak generally about something?
Edited by EoenI was thinking the same thing
