Your bar isn’t realistic input humans into any institution and you get corruption.

And yet I am suppose to believe that "If you set it up right it will be fine" There is no way to set it up right.

The two strains of libertarianism are intrinsically linked sharing core values.

I would tend to disagree. As socialism and Libertarianism are diametrically opposed.

I’ve never insinuated that it wasn’t a constant struggle, that’s why the founders set up checks and balances.

Nope tied at the hip, the end goal of communism is the withering away of the state.

Weird because that has literally never happened. In fact the exact opposite has happened everytime.

“The society which organizes production anew on the basis of free and equal association of the producers will put the whole state machinery where it will then belong—into the museum of antiquities, next to the spinning wheel and the bronze ax.“ -Engels

Yeah humans got involved in the equation.

I have never heard any libertarians use his thinking. Probably because I don't associate with Libertarin socialists because it has been pretty thoroughly demonstrated that that path does not get desired results and results in far far more government intervention.

Said the guy advocating a system that has never happened.

Since Star Wars is a galaxy far far away and a long time ago, it could be argued that our planet is in the Star Wars universe, so every topic is fair game.

based on discussions. the ET species is in the Andromeda Galaxy and they are in the Star wars Galaxy so the Star Wars Galaxy is the Andromeda Galaxy.

Well I would rather try something new than repeatedly try a system that fails everytime and results in people starving.

So since Sol is on the *** end of our Galaxy and the force doesn’t work or barely works here I suggest we are human colonists living in the Vong galaxy.

Or... we could follow a system that actually works and has led to the happiest people on Earth.

You know... I am not the biggest fan of Greek cuisine. But I love me some tzaziki And feta... I guess I can take some things from something I generally don’t like and enjoy them.

The happiest people on earth sure seem to use far more antidepressants than the rest of the world...I find the claim dubious.

Citation needed

Also, as a happy person who is on antidepressants I find your reply ignorant. But I’ll add it to the looooong list of things you are completely ignorant about.

The USA is still the world leader in anti-depressant consumption per capita.

Sure. but to say we are the happiest while needing to use antidepressants makes me question the claim. I have seen lots of info on the claim and I dont think it quite shakes out the way you think.

... the US is not the happiest nation. They're not even in the top ten for 2019 https://www.inc.com/melanie-curtin/the-top-10-happiest-countries-on-earth-according-to-un.html as you can see the winner was Norway. From North America you have Canada in the top 10.

Weird.. I never claimed to live in the happiest nation.
Also, you seem to have no idea what depression and/or the use of antidepressants actually means.

Then it should not be hard to show those citations.
