How would a healthcare system in Star Wars work?

Not a constructive response; and you guys claim Deaglen is trolling.

Nothing I stated in that paragraph is factually incorrect.

I’ve been on anti-depressants, I got off them ASAP, I felt the one I was on was personality altering in a bad way.

You're supposed to be on them for two weeks at the very least and only quit after talking to your doctor. They make you feel worse than before for those two first weeks, might be more.

Yeah I was. Doctors often adjust dosage, or try different drugs as well.

Therapy is also recommended, in addition to anti-depressents.

I was unemployed at the time so therapy was not an option. Nor was repeated doctors visits, since I lacked medical insurance.

I found I got better results from Eckhart Tolle audiobooks, than from anti-depressents.

So this is what you are like when you think you are not alone? It is funny. I think I prefer you in your Don Quichote mode...

Some of us unfortunately really do have a need for them. I am quite happy that I have the medication I need.

Believe me I tried.

Hey, anything that works. Depression is the big suck. Also sucks big time that you couldn't get access to therapy or repeated doctors visits. Nice to hear you found something that helps though.

I will also add that not all anti-depressants are created equal. That's just a very broad term for medication intended to release a different cocktail of chemicals in your brain. They're just like glasses, but for your brain.

I lucked out that my medication worked for me without having to go through several different options like some of my other friends had to do. I hear horror stories very similar to Eoen's experience.
