Corellian Conflict- post battle points

Could someone please clarify the post battle points? After each fleet has attacked.

Also if the rebels attack & lose a battle at Polanis and it is unoccupied territory. The imperials have the option of building a base there. But would those points be added for round one or only round two?

Once all battles are completed, and victors determined you will move into the Management Phase of the campaign turn. Pg 10 of the CC book (and pg 4 of the current FAQ) highlight this, however here is the summary:
If the attacking player wins at a base/outpost location they will gain 1 campaign point plus points equal to the Victory Bonus value (green box on the map). For all other locations and victors, the wining player scores 1 campaign point.

In your example: Polanis is unoccupied. The Empire successfully defends the system and would gain 1 campaign point. If the Empire builds a base at Polanis, they will not receive the resources until the following Management Phase. Each Management Phase looks like this:
1. Determine Battle Effects
2. Gain Resources (points from each controlled planet)
3. Construct New Bases (build new bases at locations you won this round)
4. Refit and Expand Fleets.

So I got annoyed by the lack of organized the info was and made a cheat sheet of my own.
Bases
Empire
Start : Number of player + Corellia (Page 6, Place bases, End)
Max : Number of Players x 2 +1 (Page 10, Base & Outpost Limits)
Rebel
Start: Bases= Number of players
Outposts= Number of players
Max: Bases= Number of players + 1
Outposts= Number of players x 2
Totaling points in the "management phase"
Battle Victory when attacking an enemy base/outpost: Campaign points 1 + Victory bonus value (Page 11, Determine Battle Effects)
Defending base- 1 campaign point
Unoccupied location- attack or defend = 1 campaign point
Special assault = 0 campaign points
Resource points
Bases: 25 + Resource Bonus value (Page 10, Gain Resources)
Rebel outpost: 5 + Resource Bonus value
Building a base cost = 15 resource points
Building an outpost = 0 resource points
Repair yard: + 5 refit points
Each player gains 30 refit points (Page 11, Refit & Expand Fleets)
