Once again I'm looking for a ruling. According to the Ichor Blade Talent (pg 40 Collapse of the Republic), "If the weapon leaves the character's possession for longer than a single scene or encounter, it loses all effects of this talent until the character reacquires it."

I guess my question is this: If my character performs the Summon Item Ritual on a weapon with the Ichor Blade would it be automatically reinstated with the full effects when summoned?

Sort of, but also sort of not. You have to spend a maneuver to dismiss it from your hand or summon it. You can't just teleport it around. If you had it in you hand to dismiss it, and then you summoned it back to your hand, I don't think it would ever count as being "out of your possession."

I actually didn't catch the dismiss from hand part, so when I first used it, i was actually using it wrong (as a GM in this case).

I did notice the whole dismiss or summon part.
