New Arc not clones?

By TIE wing, in Star Wars: Legion

From what I have read on the fandom for the new ARC trooper expansions, the units card says they are just troopers and not clone troopers???

Is this a typo? (I hope it is) Or am I just imagining things cuz the ARCs look pretty cool and would kinda be a bummer if they don't synergise with the rest of the clones...

They’re clone troopers.

Here's the evidence. It doesn't read all too well, but they are clearly not only "trooper":

I mean, all you have to do is look at the cards. Where is this "fandom" where you are reading this?

star wars legion fandom?

Well they are clearly not true fans.

So if rex has recon intel and uses his scouting party on these guys do they get scout 4

There's no such thing as a speed 4 move, so no.

You cannot Scouting Party a unit that has already used the Scout ability.

Can anyone even tell what that says?

The doesn’t just have one word like “Trooper”. It looks like maybe Clone Trooper.

can anyone actually read it, or enhance and read it?

Edit: we are talking about the little writing over their health, right?

The strike team is definitely too blurry to definitively make out, but, to me, the full unit card clearly says Clone Trooper.

It would say they’re “Clone Troopers” right over their health, right?

Not the top of the card.

Edit: yeah, I looked at the P1s and it says “Clone Trooper” just over their health.

I think the OP may be looking at the wrong place on the card. Clone Trooper is indicated by the small writing over their health (as I mentioned above), not from the writing at the top of the card or even the writing just under the writing at the top.

so they are allowed token sharing right?

also why don't they have fire support?

I actually didn't realize that was a thing because I always just read the rule off Rex's card so thank you!

Yes, token sharing is granted by being a "Clone Trooper"

Not all Clone Troopers however have Fire Support (Rex requires a Command Card to get it for one turn)

I don't think Fire Support is supposed to be a mainline ability for all the clones, it's just the rank and file that are good at it. These guys are special forces, after all. They're there for a mission, not just for more firepower.

Even then, if you have a corps unit of clones nearby, those guys can always Fire Support into something the ARCs are shooting at.

Why would they?

Yes. True fans zoom and enhance.
