The FFG store doesn't have any of it in stock except the Saber Tank. Guess it's not just your local game stores having issues with stock.
Edited by thepopemobile100New Product but....
Yeah, my local store only has the Sabre tank in stock after filling pre-orders.
Mine has all 3
I mean I am sure there was a ton of online preorders for them to fill. The stock may get updated later today or Monday with them having some.

Depends on if they fill reorders to distributors/stores first before filling their own inventory.
Hmm, I thought Legion was dying and/or the price increase was too much for some folks to handle 😁
Distribution issues seriously could be affected by the Corona Virus. It sucks for those who are dealing with that scary issue more so than those of us affected by the delay in getting our plastic dudes/dudettes.
^ this guy gets it....
....you tell'em Noob-Noob
CoolStuffInc has yet to fulfill my preorders for the bunker and escape pod and now B2s as well.
Slight update, my local store only has enough product to partially fill pre-orders. 😕 Regardless of the reason, that stinks for them, FFG, and the customer. Be nice if we had an official reason for the shortage so we can better understand how likely this is to occur in the future (coronavirus, a ship sank, bad estimation on part of FFG/Asmodee etc).
It’s not like it’s a terrible price. But compared to other things on the shelves at the FLGS I just find myself buying not-Legion. It’s just enough of a price hike to tip the scales when I make my final decision before heading to the checkout counter.

That’s why you preorder.

If you jumped on it at announcement, you got the original rate (24.95 for phase II and B2s, 49.95 for the tank.)

Except they didn't even have enough to fill all the pre-orders which I found out later.

If it's coming out of China they don't have an answer because no one knows. Even stuff that makes it out of the country and isn't volume affected by factory shutdowns then may face varying quarantine depending on the destination. It's a real sh@tshow for anything Chinese production touches atm, across the board.

That still falls under "coronavirus" that I mentionrd. I'd be mildly surprised if FFG doesn't have an accurate count as to what was produced, or the shipping company they deal with doesn't track the containers that have the product, and know why the container has been stalled.
If FFG wasn't having distribution issues prior to the coronavirus, I'd be totally fine with just blaming everything on the virus.

Well I don't care about prequel products. But I find myself just somehow not getting around to a LOT of Legion purchases. Which may or may not have been cheaper if they'd been released earlier in the games history, but, they cost enough that I just sorta forget to get around to buying them. Like the landspeeder.
I am old enough to remember when the Eldar in 40k had no big vehicles. Then the plastic grav-tank kit was announced. And the ship carrying the first of them to the USA sank.

Original rate was 34.95, then dropped to 24.95 for a bit before going back up. But that was so long ago. If FFG preorders took your money up front maybe, but they charge when shipped and last thing I need is forgetting or not knowing when a thing will ship and accidentally have incorrect funds in the “fun money” account when it processes.

Yeah it was kind of a wake-up call that this is all pretend, and things like oceans are very real... I believe LEGO pieces from that shipwreck still wash ashore in Britain. Seems unlikely to have been more than one trans Atlantic ship full of European toys that sank in the mid 90's.

https://www.bbc.com/news/magazine-28367198 article with more information. There's probably still stuff washing ashore, and there is speculation of some pieces making it as far as Australia. Hard to prove of course, since the Lego bits aren't identifiable.

And I don’t actually know if it’s the same incident. But the timings about right. I don’t play Eldar, I would have to check old WD articles for the release date.
