Has anyone heard when Thor should be released? I feel like there was speculation he’d be pretty early in March, but does anyone have something more concrete? Heard from a LGS/distributor? I know we don’t get news very far in advance on these things sometimes.

Upcoming page has it listed as March 6th and Shipping Now. I received an email 2/25 that the pre-order was in process from FFG so it is likely still on schedule.

Cool. Wasn’t able to preorder him (and the LGS I was preordering other stuff through kept getting screwed out of stuff anyways 😕 ) but I should have the cash to nab him if that holds out 😄

My LGS suffers the same unfortunately. Sometimes it gets stuff on release date, sometimes have to wait for the reprint, & sometimes it just never shows up. Since I happen to play a lot of FFG games pre-ordering card pack expansions seems to be the most reliable way for me.

Any other advice for someone who really thought they had pre-ordered it but it just seems to be missing from their list of pre-orders?

Oof, idk what to say. I mean, hopefully this pack doesn’t suffer as strongly from lack of supply?

I’m just gonna check the LGS that is apparently Platinum or something with FFG and thus gets its preorders and some stock for the shelves (while the smaller shop 10 minutes away can’t get their preorders?) and hope they’ve got an extra on the shelf still by the time I get there. But when I can get my budget back on track, the goal at this point is to probably just preorder through FFG since those seem to consistently show up on time or early.

Mine moved from the pre-order list to just plain order history when I got a confirmation email. Did you check there?

Well it’s getting ready to ship as of today. I suggest anyone who hasn’t to pre-order Black Widow and Dr Strange to do so now. Thor Was out of stock like two weeks before it had a chance to go to ‘late pre-order’ status. FFG still hasn’t gotten a good handle on the print numbers for the game yet and the demand for it is still high.

I can only assume they’re accounting for it arriving in distant locations that aren’t pre-shipped to even before that.

And my LGS isn't getting any of these either.

I pre-ordered straight from Asmodee and my copy arrived on Monday. Anyone know if they are having similar stock issues like with previous packs? That was the driving force for me to order straight from them so I could guarantee myself a copy and not get "allocated".

I pre-ordered directly and my copy of Thor came in on Monday.

If people really want to get their hands on this game, they should pre-order directly from FFG/Asmodee. You get the sticker price, and S&H is free on the Hero Packs.

EDIT: Free in the US. I hear their shipping prices are steep for international orders.

Pre-ordered from Asmodee and it arrived yesterday. Barely had time to open it and thumb through the cards before going to bed.

In my quick glance the only thing that stood out (art only) was another horrendously bad picture of Captain Marvel. Not sure why they insist on putting a fairly unknown character on so many cards and why they keep picking such awful art for the character.

I thought that cards art looked awesome, and Captain Marvel isn’t a fairly unknown character by any stretch of the imagination...

Carol Danvers as Captain Marvel I would say is relatively unknown. If it wasn't for the movie and the guest spot I'd say she is a complete unknown.

She seems better known as Ms. Marvel or "the girl Rogue stole her powers from.

Marvel keeps relaunching her comic in an attempt to make her popular but they keep failing.

Long story short- The current head of Marvel has no idea what she’s doing since she was given the job with zero experience in the comic book industry and is pushing a forced diversity ideology instead of good stories and characters. The Kamala Kahn version of Ms. Marvel is a forced stand in for said current head....and said character is also failing.

I’m not sure about that. She was basically the head of one side of Civil War II. Maybe for the average person, but Marvel comics readers will most likely have familiarity with her.
