mono-Tactics was the favorite sphere combination and Grimbeorn, Hirgon, and TaEowyn were the most popular heroes, but the majority of the decks sampled had the Beornings as an Eagles throw-in rather than concentrating on them in their own right. Tactics lacks a useful way to get Beornings into the discard for the Skin-Changer to exploit, or an easy way to get the Skin-Changer back once you use it.

MotK Nori begs to differ on that last point... (deck in the works). As for the first part, the Skin-changer works on allies in discard or in your hand. Don't need to discard them.

I was disappointed that only 2 sample decks made room for the Beorning Beekeeper (not that I blame them, but with so few Beornings). That is better than Power in the Earth, which was entirely neglected in the Woodmen sample.
