I think that last years April Fools was good enough to last two years. I was really hoping that they'd do a surprise release of Barkham yesterday. That would have been incredible. 🙂

Maybe the joke is that they didn’t post anything... 🤔

That was my hope all along. That they planned an April 1 release. And whose to say? Maybe if things were normal it would have. Although someone asked about it on their last twitch chat and they seemed to have no idea when it would ship.

Reading the descriptions on the product page (for one of the investigators):

...pre-built and ready-to-play 34-card investigator deck, as well as 26 additional cards that can be used to upgrade your deck as you play...

I'm not seeing it, but they have to have a mini investigator marker card, right?

It would be a very embarrassing oversight if they’ve forgotten!

I just realized why it says they have 34-card decks, despite their deck size (30) plus their signature cards (2) plus a basic weakness (1) only making 33: the 34th card is the mini-card.

I think you're forgetting a VERY important card... the Investigator card. 🙂

The simplest explanation is that they're just not counting the mini-card in the card count.
