Yes. Also "insensible"

Very affective against attack with Pierce... They will not be killed by Jedi so easily

Good to have confirmation of what we had already been able to see/deduce. Would have been nice to see the Dioxis Mine Saboteur card.

It's lethal 1: Spend an aim token to get pierce 1 on the attack.

More importantly clones can spend 2 aims tokens for pierce 2

The painting of the sniper set me to thinking. Surely the 'scope' on the weapon would be some sort of electronic one rather than old fashioned optical. That being the case, why would a robot need to crouch down and actually put its own optical sensor up to the scope to use it? Surely it could just link to the electronic scope and aim that way

to be fair with red dice the re-roll is not likely to be needed

It says "spend up to 1 aim token", so pierce 1 is the maximum.

Also, if that were not true, droids could also do it, it just wouldn't be as easy.

If you put Echo with a DC-15x into a corp squad with Fire Support you can Fire Support into an ARC squad with a DC-15x and make it Lethal 2 to allow the 2nd (this is of course assuming Echo keeps Lethal 1 on his version of that gun)

It is to ovoid wire, and be able to shoot even if opponent has jammer

If he has the DC-15X and if it has Lethal, yes, that would work. But we don't yet know if either of those points are true.

That is why I said assuming, tho i was under the impression they did confirm he has the DC-15x during the stream, maybe they just meant the mini but it would seem odd to model him specifically with a weapon he doesn't have. Either way its fun to speculate but I hope we'll see exactly what he and Fives bring to the table.

I wonder if echo will have the new longshot keyword rather than lethal 1. If so i assume he will come with pierce 1. Pure speculation of course but it could make sense

I was just clarifying that we don't know that information for sure. Also, for Echo's weapon, they said it was "essentially the sniper version of the DC-15," but at another point they just called it a DC-15. So they could mean the DC-15 that Phase Is get, but I do think it will likely be either the DC-15X or something similar to it.

AI is such a garbage game mechanic that was shoehorned in for fluff reasons.

It makes sense as a punishment on B1s since they all have coordinate, but the tank, droidekas, B2s and especially commandos don't get any buffs to offset AI. AI dodge move doesn't affect a vibrosword squad that much, but it hoses a sniper squad super hard, especially one without innate pierce or HV.

AI was very obviously thought up and balanced around the vacuum of the core set only. It makes sense and plays well there. When you start slapping it on to everything or introduce it to a world with cheap comm jammers on fast units that can cohere to screw you (tauns)...it becomes very much a garbage NPE mechanic that is pure fluff and hinders gameplay.

What benefit do dekas, B2s, the tank, and commandos get that requires them to have the AI handicap attached to them? Commando snipers would be good without AI, but with it they become a clunky mess. ARC snipers just completely trump them in every way.
