Trying out a Raddus/Profundity fleet for the first time (with a Starhawk) and just want to make sure I know when to set the command dials for the set aside ships. Is it correct that you don't have to set command dials in the first round command step (because the ships are set aside and not yet in play) and that you set them in the command step of the round in which they deploy? Or do you do the command dials for those ships in the first round anyway even though they are set aside?

Set them during the command phase when they’re in play.

The rules allow you to set all dials when required at any time, Not just turn one.
