She doesn’t have her lightsabers, and doesn’t have even a blaster. She’s on the Pyke home world, the best option she has is not revealing her force powers until the time is right, or they’ll lock her up with very tight security.

If she had her sabers things would probably go very different. Even if she did remain as discrete as possible.
Very likely, there are lot of ways the story goes. I’d also consider that Rafa is an opportunist and even if she wanted to turn on Ahsoka (I mean she basically has already, at least in her mind) she’s likely to wait until they’re out of this jam.
Still very valid points.
Ultimately I think I just have issues with the Force often being a lazy plot device rather than a definable element in the Star Wars universe. Perhaps as whafrog suggests its the gamer in me. I enjoy “magic” in things like Brandon Sanderson’s Mistborn more than the amorphous things the Force has become throughout canon.
It may also be that I find this arc in Clone Wars to be a poor rehash of the Ahsoka novel, which has many of the same plot points (complete with orphaned sisters, one tough and protective, the other mechanically inclined) but in a context that makes more sense to me. So its hard to not be critical.

She has doubts about everything. The only thing she does have is a strong moral sense of right and wrong, but her whole past, her whole time working for the Republic, a government that won't stop slavery on Kessel, is under assault. I'm not surprised she's playing it low-key, she doesn't know which path is the right one yet.
In some ways that's more "Jedi" than just pointing the Force-hose at everything in your path.
Very valid points.
Also something addressed in the novel in a clearer fashion.
Edited by HutchbackTheir the same characters aren’t they in the Ashoka novel?

Nope, different time, place, and people.
I read that this plot originally had Asokha meet a boy instead of the sisters, and it supposed to be in the sixth season.
There are twenty missing episodes from season six and seven, and the next story arc is the season eight finale.

Maybe we’re referring to different things? The novel titled “Ahsoka” takes place after order 66.

No I just read that years ago and forgot most of it, I remember she had a family she stayed with on the outer rim.
Dave Filoni said the story group considered to scripts from the unanimated episodes to be canon, but now they have changed them up to tie up the series.

Yeah, that was unrelated.

It looks ridiculous.
The others were wearing masks that covered their entire face. The head of the Pyke Syndicate, Lom Pyke, also has a visible mouth. I think it looks fine.

I think they where at the time of the novel, but the story has been retconned since.
There are almost forty episodes we will never see.

I read that novel, and I don't even remember it, it was that forgettable. The only part I remember is the liberation/cleansing of the crystals. But it sounds like that novel is going to have to be ret-conned out of canon, since the novel happened after Order 66, but the trailer for this season shows her with her white lightsabers. No problem for me, my head-canon hardly ever includes the novels, they mostly blow.

She has blue lightsabers in the trailer. Not yet sure where they were acquired.
If the Pykes thought they were dealing with a Jedi they would have gone after all 3 of them with everything they had. They may not have killed them but you can be sure they wouldn't be held together or without guards. If it's bad now, it would be worse then. The sisters wouldn't trust her at all anymore, and the older one, whatever her name is, would turn on her in a heartbeat if she thought it would get her and her sister freedom.

hmm, they looked white to me, but maybe I was hoping...

Agreed, seems to be what the leader wears, whoever it may be.

The Blue sabers are likely what she is talking about leaving on Rex's "grave" in the book.

in one of the trailers for the final season we see Anakin giving Ahsoka either her old or a new set of sabers
This one was fun...
Anyone want to guess what my favorite scene was?
I was so happy to see Rafa and Trace leave, I was facepalming when they decided to come back. "How unfortunate your stupidity is so authentic." <--Probably my favorite quote from this episode.
I like Bo Katan even more now though. She's great. Really looking forward to next episode because:
1. Mandos.
2. Clones.
3 Jetpacks.
4 MANDOS!.
and 5. CLONES!.
God I hope she and Ahsoka don't become friends. Bo-Katan is a nasty xenophobe, hopefully the writers didn't forget about that part of the character.
I don't mean that in a judgmental manner, like, that Ahsoka should be surrounded by a cast of purely nice people. What I dislike is when characters that prove popular are softened after their introduction and you end up with a mess of downplayed & unexamined flaws.

I agree with the underlined bit, but what exactly do you mean about being a nasty xenophobe?

She is a terrorist who justifies her actions through her hardcore traditionalist stance, but when Maul follows tradition to assume leadership over her, she immediately flip-flops on that and goes "Never. No outsider will ever rule Mandalore".

I always saw that as disbelief of a non-mandalorian becoming leader... I'm sure she said the same about Gideon. Before Maul, I'm guessing it was just assumed that only Mandos would want to be the leader of Mandalor.

She immediately commits treason and takes up violent action against him. I think that's a bit more than disbelief.
Extremely...
disbelief probably wasn't the best word..probably more vehemently rejecting the notion that a non-mandalorian warrior were to be the new leader.. especially Maul, who is using criminal syndicates and underhanded tactics... yes, I realize Death Watch wasn't any better, but from their point of view, Death Watch had more honor than criminal thugs..
Bo could be a little xenophobic, given her acceptance of DW acts shown in Clone Wars; burning villages, murdering civilians (both mandalorian and others) her dismissive attitude of Ahsoka when she pretended to be someones fiance... Or it was her outlook.. she is descended from warriors, warriors that almost conquered a section of the galaxy and it's your desire to return your people to the glory days... Someone with that point of view will look down on most people... not simply due to xenophobia, but because you see yourself as better than them because of your skill/heritage... now thats a thin line that could tip you either way..
I think she would've had a similar reaction if it was Obi-wan who won... I could be wrong..
