Imladris Singles: Council of the Wise deck
Great deck and write up. Even if it's not the strongest, it's my favourite contract (maybe joint now that Messenger has been spoiled!) Can't wait to try it out for myself.
It’s definitely a unique gameplay experience! I have a couple of other ideas for this contract, but none forthcoming. I find it time consuming to build a Council of the Wise deck and tweak it into something worthy of sharing.
This might be a dumb question, but...
The wording on the contract. It says you can only choose an option once each round. Does this mean you can only trigger one effect per round or that once you choose an option, that selection is locked in for the round but can trigger every time you play an event that round?
You can lower your threat once, get a resource once, and draw a card once per round. Would need to play 3 different events in the same round to do that. You can’t reduce your threat multiple times in the same round, or get multiple resources, or get multiple cards from the contract’s effect.
Super cool deck man! Looks like a good use of council of the wise. I'll definitely have to give it a try.
