noob question: can a wild symbol combine with an existing skill icon on the card to double up that boost?

Police Badge has a single Willpower icon and a single Wild icon. If you commit Police Badge to a Willpower test, is it worth +1 or +2?

The answer is that it's worth +2. You count all matching icons, and an icon is matching if it's the same as the skill being tested or if it's wild. You don't have to choose between Wild icons and non-wild matching icons.

Otherwise, what would be the point of the Willpower icon; you're getting a +1 from the wild anyway after all.
