FO Hyper Lists: Please Rank (NOW ANGRY REBEL LIST)

Not looking for a LOT of suggestions, but feel free to. I want to fly these ships. Mainly looking for a rank 1-3 on your believe on effectiveness for our Hyperspace Store Tournament. Keep in mind the Hyper Meta, trying to balance against swarms and beef and aces.

All look OK. Only suggestion is Proud Tradition over Daredevil on Holo in no.2, but that is also more for personal flavour.

Totally arbitrary ranking is in the same order as you have listed them.

I like the second list the best. You definetely want to pairthe lieutenants whenever you play them, and Rivas is a pretty good place to send all the unwanted Holo tokens.

I’ll tell you why I like #2 - 3 double modded shots at I5/6. That’s some ps killing there boy! 😜

Yes, but it's so much more than that, because the barons are very flexible too

I like #2 because that's the list I've been running for a few days now and I've been doing well on top if it being pretty fun. Only difference is on Holo I run proud tradition instead and I gave Rivas optics. Full personal ranking would be: 2, 1, 3.

I like #3 the most but I would replace Vonreg with Holo + Proud Traditions. I think you'll get a lot more out of Holo than Vonreg in most every situation as long as you have enough ships in the list to take advantage of the ability.

I kinda like Kylo.

However, let me lay one on you that I haven't had a chance to test yet, but I know I'll enjoy. Whether it suits anyone else... *shrug* Not every list speaks to everyone, and the game would be boring if we all flew the exact same stuff.

Healthy bid for Vonreg. PT Muse seems like a BLAST. SJEngineers are sneaky-good ships. They move really well, hit hard, can take a punch, and if you get a little lucky they don't have to. Slotting one or two into a list is worth doing sometime. I hadn't thought much about the SJE at first, but putting them on the table has been pleasantly surprising to me. Worth it as a change-up in practice maybe.

I think I like list number 2 the best, then 3, then 1.

Also PT Muse with Patern Analyzer = Focus Lock Muse with No stress after a red move. It shrinks Vonregs bid but it seems like a nice quirky combo

Pattern Analyzer isn’t Hyperspace legal

So I took #1 to a practice night tonight. Did pretty well. Full disclosure: I only have 1 TIE/ba ..... lol 😒 not convinced yet to buy another, even tho I love list #2.

Won v Boba/Fenn and Fenn/2x Firesprays.

Lost against Fenn, Nom Lumb, Krassis Trelix. But WEIRD game. Double modded rolling nearly nothing on both sides. Final score was like 38-0. Weird game. 🤷‍♂️

All in all, I liked #1. It’s very forgiving. Lots of HP and green dice a pretty fair reds. DD Vonreg is nearly uncatchable becuz you don’t have to fly at all at the enemy until their backs are to you.

BTW, Rivas does a LOT of work all by himself. Can’t prove it but I imagine his damage output is higher than Scorch’s.

He’s often ignored then all of a sudden his rolling 2/3 double modded dice. Kinda surprised by him.

Is Proud worth it on Holo? what about Advanced Optics? First time FO list

That sounds like a weird game. The most important part of the list is enjoying it and really getting to know it. Unconventional lists can win well if they are flown right.

I think I may be jumping ship on FO for hyperspace. There’s so many fangs out there right now. I think I’m going for a turret or something. 🙄

While not a certain counter to Fangs, TIE/SF turrets pointed to the rear arc do not allow the Fang shenanigans to trigger.

Fangs if you catch them in range 2 melt. It's tricky, but it can be done. It's actually one of those ships along with the Delta that has so much power, but if you fubar, it's lights out and goodnight. So yeah... S/Fs are awesome. Especially since you can just 4-5 straight past them lock em' and shove rear arc concussions down their throats.

EDIT: Honestly the thing I'm 'most' worried about is vulture spam/swarm spam in general.

I like #2 but I'm not sold on Daredevil for Holo. Proud Tradition is probably better but, having played a bunch of games with PT Holo, I'm also not sold on that talent either. Theoretically it works great but in practice it doesn't offer as much upside as I thought it would. Still, it's only 2 points so not too bad and the downside very rarely triggers. While Daredevil Vonreg is also very good and a lot of fun, I've found he often ends up with single-modded shots that aren't that effective as he uses Daredevil to get sights on his targets. I'm toying with a very similar list to your #2 but dropping Proud Tradition and Daredevil to put Outmanoeuvre on Vonreg, which is a Talent I've had a lot of success with on him. It lowers the bid a little bit but 193 should still be fine.

You get a lot of single-modded shots, just like with Daredevil, but those shots are often at -1 Agility which is huge for punching through Fenn or Kylo and absolutely melts ships like X-Wings. It's more expensive than DD, so obviously that needs to be taken into consideration, but I've found it to be an excellent upgrade given that you often don't want Vonreg to be taking any return fire anyway so it plays into the best way to utilise him.

I’ll look into it. If the strain that Vonreg gives out would stick, Outmaneuver would be stapled to him. Unfortunately, most times people just dial in a blue maneuver which removes the strain before anyone can take advantage of the strain.

True, but I tend to treat Vonreg as if he doesn't have an ability at all. Don't think I've ever managed to combo Outmaneuver and Strain on the same shot.
