Really excited for the commando droids. Although it looks like I'll have to trade a set of droidekas to field them, I do think it's worth it.

Tournaments have been seeing less snipers recently

Hey these snipers are worst than current snipers. More expensive and just... worst.

I hope this means we will see an errata.

Worse piercing shot, but better staying power and better base dice. Red defense with Impervious, no joke. Super sad on the BX's that they won't be able to get an aim token for Lethal 1 unless they get orders (AI: Move/Dodge) which isn't something I want to plan around where as the ARCs get Tactical 1 where they can move and still get an aim.

I wonder with the Arcs and commandos designed the way they are we could see full units being used more than just the strike teams. Although that is pure speculation

Diplomatic cover is very interesting. If you "divulge", Padme gets Infiltrate and Secret Mission, but if you keep it to yourself, she gets Reliable 1 (which judging by Permanent I think means she always gains it) which goes very well with Exemplar.

No high velocity either. This is a huge huge loss.

Strike teams have dropped off with more interesting unit options. Also, the range 1-5 nerf over infinite range means old snipers were less relevant and could pop faster.

The only time it was really handy was to plink down force users without letting them activate Deflect.

Biggest thing for Clones is they finally get comms with the Arc Troopers. I suppose RTD2 also has comms, but having it for troopers is nice.

The new snipers are immune to deflect too so it's not even good for that

So how will cover be determined with Arcs with Jump pacts? Wouldn’t it be a disadvantage to build them like that?

This isn’t true (see recent tournament winning lists).

Same as Boba fett, if the base is blocked, they're in cover.

Arcs roll a black and a red with critical 1, lethal 1, and immune: deflect

BX Droids roll 2 red with lethal 1 and immune: deflect.

Alex said a rules change would address the way trooper minis are seen. He said they didn't want the rules of the game to limit creativity
