I see a lot of Unity titles but I do question its worth outside of the Redirect alas it is the only Mk2 title though... Rerolling a die when hitting squads is nice, but there are rules you have to follow to get it, and you also lose one of the Starhawks ship shots which I think need to be on ships to be winning. Using one of the other titles can save you a few points by dropping to the Mk1 (concord allows you to drop LCR, and take the two fish heads for rerolls)(amity allows for a evade/LCR token, plus bulkhead rams). With the Afk and 4 squads you should be able to hold off most squad balls until you take the carrier out... the AfK can salvo squads as well.

I would also think about DCOs depending how often you face Crit lists, DCOs has been a prevailing factor in some of my hawk wins stopping APTs/ACMs, otherwise with 3 ships you risk your token suite being overloaded, DCO at least helps you stop those crits coming in.

Other than those thoughts I really like it as is.

Well I wanted to find a use for the Mark II. The red/blue suite is just better to trigger agate (off). And it gives you a bit more reach with flak. I mean its just an option to use your flak shot, I would agree with you shooting ships is more important.

Amity plus bulkheads seems not too great since Amity triggers when you get overlapped not when you ram someone, while bulkheads trigger if you ram someone smaller. So this isn't worth it for me.
DCO might be a cool option but I ALWAYS hesitate with her, since you might have a dead card on your hands. Sure it might be AMAZING if he brings 3 ACMs and black dice galore. But it might be 5 points for naught.

The thing is, I at least want the options to select my tokens. I can decide what salvo replaces, with Concord I am stuck with the token - the huge boon I see with Concord is that this is somewhat of an important factor in a mirror match facing of against a magnite concord.

Thanks for the feedback! I guess I have to test this a bit and swap around some cards to see if this goes anywhere :)

Outside of large ships it's brutal, it stops 100% of all engine tech CR-90s, any demos that want to double ram, even the medium ships.. It's worth it imo to just nerf half of someones list as I personally would always ram at least 1-2 times a game usually on purpose.

True, but less of a loss with the two officers, it's one of those upgrades that will hurt a lot more to need and not have, then have and not need. With Walex or say Asteroid Tactics you can make that one contain go a long way.

I do agree here it's part of the reason I take Amity so I can just swap out its evade, I really like Concord though especially if committed to the DCO. But as you say and having done so myself it's nice to be able to drop the contain say for the salvo in a list when it's not needed.

100%, I settled on my starhawk list and since have been running and fine tuning it, it's a very very good ship

Faction: Rebel Alliance
Points: 398/400

Commander: Garm Bel Iblis

Assault Objective: Surprise Attack
Defense Objective: Rift Ambush
Navigation Objective: Solar Corona

GR-75 Medium Transports (18 points)
- Leia Organa (off) ( 3 points)
- Comms Net ( 2 points)
= 23 total ship cost

GR-75 Medium Transports (18 points)
- Ahsoka Tano ( 2 points)
- Comms Net ( 2 points)
= 22 total ship cost

[Flagship]Starhawk-class Battleship Mark I (140 points)
- Garm Bel Iblis ( 25 points)
- Amity ( 6 points)
- Lando Calrissian (off) ( 4 points)
- Strategic Adviser ( 4 points)
- Local Fire Control ( 4 points)
- Linked Turbolaser Towers ( 7 points)
- Leading Shots ( 4 points)
= 194 total ship cost

Assault Frigate Mark II A (81 points)
- Paragon ( 5 points)
- Local Fire Control ( 4 points)
- Electronic Countermeasures ( 7 points)
- Linked Turbolaser Towers ( 7 points)
= 104 total ship cost

1 Shara Bey ( 17 points)
1 Tycho Celchu ( 16 points)
2 A-Wing Squadrons ( 22 points)

I thought about it some more:

Amity might be the correct choice, its cheaper, it gets me a defense token I can replace if I don't play against an Onager. In case I do, I might keep it to get extreme range defense.

Switched to a Mark one, as much as it pains me its ten points

I decided to bring in Lando and Strategic Adviser instead of Intel and Walex. Walex is much better with Agate she can insure a use for your brace tokens and brings a second one. Lando acts as an insurance if my enemy finds an accuracy or brings an intel officer or hits me with a biiig demo hit. I can take one big shot more.

Activations now 5 instead of 3. Its just the name of the game. Being out activated is dangerous.

I want the Intels, I dooo but I end up cutting them all the time. Toryn on the other hand seemed superflous she really is only there to fish for better results.

I had two succesful games so far and in both my opponents went for the Frigate, so I will be prepared not to let it get jumped. I won both games.

Garm + Ahsoka + Leia for one 3 and one 4 command ship, gives you rediculous flexibility.

Amity I feel would be the one I'd play competitively I feel, concord the one for fun. Like you say good for keeping for extreme range, or just swapping. I would run the Mk2 more if it had at least 1 more title

I like Lando as you know there's nearly always going to be a big shot coming your way, and yeah I never leave home without 4 activations min.

Toryn is great with max squads, but agree here for 7pts she's a hard fit. The frigate with Salvo makes opponents think hard for sure, two real tanky ships.

Garm + Ashoka + Leia with comms net as well is really nice for adapting to every situation

Gunna write this list up and try it
