I want to mod my C-ROC into a pirate version, i.e. the Corsair Retrofit:

This means for me to remove the top engine section (Broken Horn mods show howto) and find a suitable turret to mount there. Since I have no spare Gozant lying around I would like to take some other kind of part.
I know there are some turrets on shapeways, but they are rather expensive.

A better solution would be some kind of flak modding kit for WW2 ships, but I had no luck finding something like that.

Maybe someone here can help?

If I find nothing I might just remove the bottom turret of one of my Gozantis because no one will notice it ...

Shadowcasters are dirt cheap right now on Amazon.

Less than $20 USD and you've got turrets and blaster to spare.

I'd go with Shapeways.. specifically Mel Miniatures.. also Alien Luxury, they have different engine / weapon replacement choices..

Similarly, the YT-2400 can be had at around that price and I think that turret would look pretty good on top of a Gozanti with the surrounding hull section from the yt grafted on to make a nice pod around it.
