Hey all. I’ve been playing the physical game of X-Wing for years now and would like to start exploring playing via Vassal. I am a Mac guy and have it downloaded and ready to go, just looking to set up a time to play with someone who is patient with me as I learn how to play via Vassal. I would love to get comfy with playing virtually so I’m good to go for my next tourney or casual play at my local game store. If you are willing to help me out, let me know and maybe we can plan a time to play? Thanks to all who might have advice on how to get started or is willing to help a brother out.

Just hop on a put an exclamation next to your name. You can even change your name under preferences and put something like "first game on vassal" You'll get a game. People are happy to help others learn. Be aware that Vassal league is going on now so many people on are looking for league games.

I can't do it tonight, but I second what Chemical Jedi said. The Vassal community is the maybe the nicest I've ever seen. If you can't find a game tonight, I bet you'll be able to find one the next time you're online. Good luck!
