Edited by manoftomorrow010I'm liking Plo Koon with outmaneuver.
Laughed out loud at the Twin Laser Turret.
The X-Wing version can go die in a fire. Hilarious that they chose the same name for a Legion upgrade.
Looks solid. Plo Koon is an interesting foil to Lok Durd, but I don't see him being recovered as much. More of a One and Done sort of upgrade.
Would love to have a few more generic command card options for Aayla. Guess we'll have to wait for the AAT article to find out what the "Bunker Buster" and High-Explosive ordinance upgrades do.
Edited by NeonWolfOkey with this new designs it just shows the poor designs of older units.
Airspeeder and speeder bikes all should have outmanouver.

Unfortunately we'll have to wait for the Specialist box which hasn't even been announced (assuming CW continues to somewhat follow the same pattern as GCW). Large base Inspire 2 [EDIT: on decent sized non-infantry base] isn't terrible either.
Interesting that they didnt reveal the bunker buster and High Explosive rounds cards. But having scatter or high velocity to your tank pool, might be very cool!
tank is real good.
a list with the tank, R2, Rex, and a bunch of clones; Roll Out + Scouting Party will be really fun

Errata!?!?!?!

High Velocity only has an effect if all weapons in the pool have High Velocity, so adding it to a pool doesn't change anything.

Cards say scatter and high velocity repectively

I hope so. Otherwise we get the x wing 1.0 problem where old iconic ships lagged behind new ones because of new design ideas or keywords.
Might as well re-work both those units now.

Sorry, misinterpreted their comment. HV is only its own pool, but that weapon has BLAST, which is great for HV shot, no dodge, no cover!

Scatter is going to be great in other pools with Arsenal 2

Yeah, did the "zoom and enhance" thingy and noticed that. Looks like the Bunker Busters are Range 1-2 and the High-Ex are Range 2-4. As @Caimheul1313 pointed out though, the High-Ex would lose High Velocity if you add them to an attack pool with a weapon that doesn't have that keyword.

Arsenal two.
Someone's strategy with the tank could be to spread out the pain. Plus would be nice to have if you wanted to target an important unit that had dodge tokens on it
Just now, manoftomorrow010 said:Right, but that weapon also has Scatter, so if you wanted your main gun to have Scatter, or your Beam to have Scatter, then you add this, and just lose out on HV, which, seems good, still.
Bunker Buster has Scatter, High-Ex has High Velocity

Yeah, sorry, mixed them up haha

You you still have to target a second unit. I may have misunderstood your comment, when you said "the tank's pool" I thought you meant adding it to the "attack pool" with a different weapon, not "having the ability to get that keyword."
Edited by Caimheul1313Either way...
These tanks look awesome. Good to see heavy vehicles look mean and perform as such...theoretically, we'll have to see on the tables.
I like the idea of shaking up the meta, and quite honestly I'm surprised that more imperial players dont use the ATST or GAV more often.
However...even with this, I dont see the meta changing too much if at all. Activation control seems to be the thing if you want to win.

Should have said "Tank's repertoire "

I see the AT-ST a lot in our area lol 2nd place at our Prime was AT-ST/Bossk.
Unfortunately GAR can still, realistically max out at 9 activations, but the tank will make them, as an army, even more survivable.

Droids at least have access to cheaper activations/Corps units, so might see some tanks there (especially when they get a cheap generic commander). At least until they have more options for the other force organization slots.
It doesn't hurt that the new objectives will bring the total number of objectives that vehicles can interact with to the critical number of 4.
Only time will really tell though.
Yeah the positive is that the more vehicles and heavy armor units that gets viable, the more anti vehicle get's used. Like the t-47 and those cool exhaust weapons.

That's not a Large base, it's a new size larger than Huge.
