What about 7x Concussion Z-95s? 6x double-modded Hyena Protorps? 5xI5 Torrent Mag-Pulse?

Good? Maybe. Worth 240 points? Not by a long shot.

Though you can't Crack a Procket.

You can Marksmanship it though, which is just as fun.

Unpopular opinion: Intimidation is the better talent and is hyperspace legal. Phoenix with Intimidation and Concussions is low key the best A-Wing and better than RZ-2s fight me.

Have you flown this? I mean, really? Having flown a Scyk swarm with autoblasters, I don't believe in it. Yes, those crits from out of arc are wonderful, but since most of the time you only have a focus token you don't exactly get much reliability on getting them. It's a great weapon on the Scyk, I definitely recommend, but it's not exactly a reliable list.

true you can't crack a procket. but crack is great for late game clean up!

I really wish we would have gotten an i5 or i6 RZ-1 pilot in the aces pack...... Hera in an RZ-1 is a dream! I would also take Sabine, even at i3 in an A-wing. it's not broken I swear.

The main point for equipping the autoblaster is the extra-attack die in bullseye-arc.

You basically get this package for just 28 points (with only Ini 1 though):

@Blail Blerg Extended is fine. Most of the top lists at LVO were basically same lists pre-points updates. Some lists like FOcho, and Kylo + 4 popped up, and maybe Fenn got a couple upgraded friends, but many dominant extended lists stayed at the top.

Hyperspace is where things are gonna get a little crazy because aces and pre-move actions/shenanigans is all but gone. Gonna just be jousty joust-wing. Ace + miniswarm is the only hope ace players have in hyperspace. But every faction should be well represented in hyperspace. Nothing really stands out as OP, and without any major hyperspace tournies to draw from, its just too early to really tell.

I'm talking about at the edge of terrible and Tier3 garbage. Some pilots are so terrible they're actually a time wasting trap.

Not about meta diversity at a tournament or the health of formats. Surprise, if those pilots are in that hype format with all of its own meta issues, they're still the same cost even if its mitigated slightly by a reduction of tier1 stuff.

Yeah Si picked that up from me. It’s very very good, and I know a bunch of us are taking it to the System Open.

I’ve lost one game with it where I got the engage hilariously wrong. Before that defeat I’d lost <1 ship per game on average.

Care to elaborate or specifics here? I personally have either personally used or seen all the Empires and First Orders ships hit the table and been competitive. Doesn’t mean they are world breaking monsters but can be flown well enough to make a competitive game without just being rolled over like a penny on a railroad track.

*shrug* You’re welcome to go buy a swarm of the guys and try to run up scores in Hyperspace then. From experience, I wouldn’t. They are a great deal, but you’re going to be disappointed with how the theory plays out in practice if you think seven are going to be lining up bullseye shots all the time. With four I normally got one a game (sometimes more with large base)

No, they're not. They've almost all been used seriously at competitive events, and the ones that haven't probably will be soon due to the huge buffs they recently received (VCX, YT-2400, Generics, etc).

The only ones I can think of are named Defenders and E-Wings, but even they have seen at least some competitive success, and they have more room for friends and toys now.

Bringing up Hyperspace as a solution to pilots being unplayable is pretty laughable. The entire concept of the format is that a lot of stuff isn’t playable. Wedge currently isn’t playable in Hyperspace, for goodness sake!

I always think this when people talk about ships that might come out but probably won't because something like it already fills that role.

Just because the Lambda exists in the game doesn't mean I don't want Krennic's shuttle.

I don't always want new ships because of new mechanics, sometimes I want new ships just to have different ships to play Star Wars with.

If I'm reading this right (and as I try to read this I feel like I might be having a stroke so I'm not sure) you don't care about healthy formats or meta diversity, which are both in great shape, by the way.
