why on Earth would you make the art for the P2s the 327th and then as far as we know (would be awesome if i was wrong) you can't actually build the 327th out off the box...... kills me inside.

one option I'm considering is using the models from the P1 weapon upgrade box and then slapping the P2 helmets on them. that would be extremely expensive though and fairly limiting in poses.

what's different about the 327th regiment that you can't build them?

FFG uses whatever art they have, I'm sure. Almost every upgrade, command card and unit card's art was reused from Imperial Assault and Destiny art they already had. Some of those pictures I've seen in X-wing and Armada as well and have been used at least 3-4 times (I can't remember what their role-playing game is called but most of it probably showed up there first)

I'm sure the Box art is no different.

I would LOVE to see Aayla Secura in the game.

As far as current Canon is concerned, the 327th is a decorated Veteran Corps that did upgrade, but it’s not a “specialized” unit.

Don't forget the LCG where much of the art for the other Star Wars games originated.

Why wouldn't you be able to make the 327th in Legion? Can't you just paint the yellow decals on to the clones? Unless you mean the kamas and pauldrons, which I guess wouldn't make them look screen accurate.

Though you would be able to add them by using green stuff or maybe real fabric?

327th all wore kamas and pauldrons.

they are the unit depicted in the art. from what we've seen there really won't be Kama or pauldron options in the box.

Wouldn't be the first time that something like this happened - I'm still a little bitter that the standard Phase 1 Clones are modelled with the DC-15A carbine instead of the DC-15 rifle that they primarily used.

I'm sure that's for balance issues. Can you imagine a 6 man unit with DC-15s? 12 Red dice with Critical 6?

When i first started the game i think the first unit i built of stormtroopers i made all with pauldrons and backpacks so they could be my Tatooine sandtrooper unit. They're still my favorite and in every game I've played with imperials. I did have to make some backpacks for some of them. I even made several figures using tje extra Veers figures i purchased cause i thought his armro looked cool. I would think with the number of pauldron figures (Rex, captain from P1, P1 expansion and P2 exp, you could do something similar. The Kamas would take some work with green stuff but are way easier than backpacks. Is there any difference between the P1 and P2 troopers besides the helmets and the poses?

not too much difference outside of that.... at least according to bf2 (not that that is an extremely reliable source)

Having the DC-15 as the standard rifle would mean dropping its stats to the standard 1 Black.

The DC-15 in the lore has both strengths and weaknesses compared to the DC-15A, but they (and the E-11) aren't hugely different from each other - it only has red dice and Critical because FFG says it does.

We haven't all seen/read every SW thing, so it is helpful to explain this kind of stuff, especially if it's outside the film's.

Three of the four clone troopers from the upgrade expansion have kamas, it looks like 2 have pauldrons.

So far, most of the clones' arms have been fairly interchangeable (some need a little work)

I think you could make a 327th squad with a little work

This kind of surprised me. Two of the Troopers with kamas were the heavy weapon troopers. I figured those with the kamas would've been the Captains (my 2 are being painted up as Echo & Fives 😊 ) and the Specialists.

This phase 2 expansion could make several different units from canon like 501st, shock troopers, or 212th attack battalion to name a few.

if they had made kamas and pauldrons, how many other units from canon could be considered “corps” (not special forces) with that same uniform? I’m not sure but I only remember the 327th looking like that.

maybe there’s hope to see that sculpt in an upgrade expansion some day
