Since not everyone here is on Fly Better Podcast, here's the Store Champ prize images I shared there last week. Thanks to my local store for sharing the images.

Artwork on the back of damage deck is nice. But why did ffg go with the damage deck version with only text on front? Why not use the one with the TIE/SF that shows what part got hit. It looks so much better.
Stuff looks pretty cool.
Now if FFG could put out a list of places using these kits for store championships that would be nice.

The damage deck is the same size as the core set; a lot of the cards don't have enough space for artwork.
It's all very pretty, but I don't want to win any of it. Don't play /fo, don't particularly like the sequels. If I do well it's going straight to the trade group, and this makes me sad because I like swag.

Tricky. There are a lot of stores and each will choose their own date to hold their Store Champs.
Eg, there are about 10 stores near enough to me that I would consider attending (I'll be TO for one). Multiply that up just for the rest of England and that makes far too many for FFG to list.
Fortunately for those of us in the UK, 186th Squadron maintains a database of events and we just have to notify them.
Why not see if you have something similar for your area? If not, start one?

Yes, but we won’t know if they’re as good. Selfishly, I hope Wade had another season or two submitted before hand.

Could always collect it and trade for stuff you like better. I love the coins, but I know not everyone does. I’ve managed to pick up a few by trading off stuff I don’t want, which is most of the prizes at tournaments to be honest.
The card art is nice and all, but for me the real winners are the dial covers. They’re not as nice as the Worlds Red Squadron ones, but I still wouldn’t mind having them.

Holy s**t I am so envious.
The art print is very cool, imo. So glad I scored well enough to earn one, but I get the feeling even if I hadn't somebody would have just given me there's.
The dials are way cool, but I've never done well enough to score top 8 at a tournament, and very likely never will.

Pretty much my thoughts @Estarriol . They all look great, but as it's very faction specific, I don't really have any interest in them. I'm also really struggling to muster up interest in the Hyperspace format, to the point where I'm going to be missing my first System Open since they started (the prizes there are very faction specific as well).
It's a double whammy combination of factors that's making me pick and choose my events this year, whereas previous years I would have been going to as many events as possible. I guess I'll be waiting to see what the Prime, Grand and Continental events have to offer.
Most prize kits have always been faction specific. Most of the time, that being rebel or imperial. Let other factions have a chance.

Sadly, I won't be able to attend most of them. I get permission to play in one event per month with an occasional extra one. There is some sort of tournament almost every weekend, within an hour or so's driving.

Funnily enough, that's exactly what I'm doing. All power to the people who are interested in this stuff, I'm just not one of them!

There are some other prizes on the wall from what I saw of the photo Dee snapped. But, I sorta get it.
Then again, the last 1.0 system opens were all about the bounty hunters/scum so I suppose it’s always been that way? And wasn’t last year’s system open red squadron based?
Yes, I am less enthusiastic about hyperspace than extended. But the swag is pretty much spot on the sort of stuff we’d expect, and there is a lot.

It would seem to make sense. I wouldn’t object to it, even if I’m not a heavy Resistance player (I have most of their things but never bought more than two RZ-2 and didn’t pick up fireball).
I know there was a group on here earlier hoping worlds 2020 had an exclusive paint t70 of Poe’s Ep9 fighter. The fact that Adepticon is getting a con exclusive paint scheme N1 says to me that ffg is not planning on stopping those promos, so we should expect a ship of some kind for worlds.

I feel you.... I have a specific night a week I can get away, and it’s not when the tournaments are. So I have to try and negotiate to a few. I am hoping on making my home store’s store champ at least. Then it’ll probably just be Monday nights until worlds last chance.

Its not like you need a magnifying glass to see the art. There is always a way you could do it. Its just a matter of the layout.
