I was 1.0 player and getting slowly back in 2.0. Just wondering what is the typical initiative bid now. Thanks

Works for extended but my guess is that it is not representative for hyperspace.
- Seems like more folks build to close to 200 these days. Vader doesn't care, since he'll often bring Passive Sensors, and many Jedi in Extended will bring Sense, maybe Heightened Perception on Mace. Kylo often just can't afford a big bid. There will often be a point or two, but a lot less deep than 1e bids, IMHO.
- When folks have big bids, they're often really deep. Boba/Fenn will often have 20ish point bids. That's not something most lists can match.
- There's probably a sweet-spot in the 3-7 range where you'll win the first player choice in a lot of games, but won't have to give up too many upgrades.
- A lot of bidding is local. 5 might be really deep somewhere, and barely anything somewhere else.
It’s surprisingly effective to have a 1-3 point bid.
If flying a 3 ship ace list 5-7, maybe as deep as 10.
2 ship lists often have 20.
I never go deeper than 3-4 on bids. I think the importance is a bit overrated.
