I was told Alex Davy did a soft confirm at LVO (where he also apparently explained Marksman keyword) but haven't seen it myself.

Alex Day pretty much confirmed the leaks were true during the LVO Stream. Go watch em...or just wait till Feb. 11th when they are announced. Either way...the leaks are true.

The live article says 4 new expansions so I wonder if we are getting Padame, Bane, Clan Wren, & Inferno squadron or ARCs, AT-RTs, Commandos & STAPs (grouping is my guess) or if the live article is incorrect.

PT operatives and Special Forces is my guess seeing as Alex Davy mentioned the two types of units dropping together months ago.

The article also says " with some amazing new options for the Galactic Republic and Separatist Alliance" so I'd have to second it's probably the PT Operatives and SFs rather than the OT units.
But while I feel that's the most likely combo I'd LIKE the SF and Supports because I'm more interested in how the AT-RT will differ from the Rebel counterpart, and just how they'll do STAPs personally.

He confirmed it on FB as well. I put up a post with all the cards Luke eddy spoiled on discord, and Alex responded to a question or two in there.

Which is why I gave up. I sorta buy stuff now and then but I’m done keeping up with the Joneses. My empire has had nothing “new” since the original Imperial specialists (Bossk excepted), and my rebels are almost all pre-specialists (one unit of veterans excepted because I didn’t have enough corps units). I am probably only going to pick up for them the escape pod + the heavy weapon trooper packs.

I play rebels and clones so the escape pod was essential for me.

I’m with you on that one. The thing I find frustrating is that they keep coming out with Rebel and Imperial stuff every month as well. I thought they would slow down and only come out with stuff quarterly, allowing the two new factions to catch up and giving my wallet a little break. I collect all 4 factions, which I may stop if they don’t slow down production. It’s just when they come out with something cool, it’s hard for me to say, no. 🥺

They did say it was going to be 80/20 CW/GCW during the time for them to “catch up.”
Then the Mouse got involved and said no, print us more money because we want OUR things not the old ones. Notice how, with the exception of the Vader + Luke operatives, the new GCW announcements and leaks have all been tied to Disney era IP (and even Vader sorta is since it’s based on his Disney comic).
I was going to buy 3 of 4 factions. I gave up that idea in a hurry. I’m going to try to pick only things that excite me aesthetically not game mechanics-y. Let other people play the meta game and mechanic shenanigans; I just want my Star Wars fix. Probably only buying Cassian of the latest GCW upcoming announcements (plus the leaks mentioned for GCW era). And only the trooper packs for the sculpts of classic units and aliens.

And I am seriously tempted into finding an economic way to buy some droids ..... I split two core sets with a buddy so that’s out but man, them commando droids and Bane are pretty cool.
